Spencer is a Virginia native who became fascinated with wine through importer Kermit Lynch while cooking in California. He returned home in 2004, and began a career in wine retail in Richmond, where he lives today with his girlfriend, cat and two dogs. He enjoys music, gardening and mushroom foraging.
